FAQ

In-person training takes place in a private gym in the Charleswood/Brentwood area of NW Calgary. You’ll receive the exact address, along with parking information, during your onboarding process.

For online training, you can work out wherever works best for you—at home, in a commercial gym, or anywhere else you have access to equipment. Your workouts will be tailored to the space and equipment available to you.

Where do the workouts take place?

1

Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Please also bring a clean pair of indoor workout shoes to change into, regardless of the season. This helps us keep the gym clean and sanitary. No bare feet, please.

What should I bring?

2

Regular training hours are Monday–Thursday, approximately 9:30 AM–3:00 PM, with specific availability varying by day.

Summer hours may differ during July and August, so please reach out for current availability.

What are your training hours?

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

4

For the most up-to-date cancellation policy, please refer to the policy listed in Square, our booking platform.

Currently, appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours before your scheduled session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling, except in the case of a medical emergency and at the trainer’s discretion.

What is your sickness policy?

5

If you’re feeling unwell, please cancel or reschedule your session. Many of our clients have young children, older adults, or other vulnerable family members at home, and we want to do our part to keep everyone as healthy as possible.

Because stomach viruses can be especially contagious, please reschedule your appointment if anyone in your household has vomited within the past 48 hours. In this situation, you’ll be permitted to reschedule even if you’re within the usual 24-hour cancellation window.

Do I have to commit for a certain amount of time?

6

There is no minimum commitment required.

That said, I strongly recommend giving yourself at least 12 weeks. This is often when clients really begin to see and feel meaningful changes—and when new routines start to feel less like something you have to do and more like a natural part of your life.

Is there anything else I should know about in-person training?

7

A few quick things to help make your experience as comfortable as possible:

The gym is a scent-free space, so please avoid wearing perfume, strongly scented lotions, or other fragranced products.

The gym is located in a separate building from the house and does not have a bathroom, so please plan to use the facilities at home before your session.

And while we love them dearly, please leave pets, children, and livestock at home—with the exception of pre-crawling babies. This is your time to focus on yourself in a comfortable, adult-only space.
